Covid-19 Update

In late March I wrote about what actions we’d taken to protect our customers, team, and community in the face of the current pandemic. Though the world is far from in the clear, enough things have changed in that period that I thought it about time that we talk a little about what precautions we’re taking going forwards.

We’ve been hard at work introducing safe social distancing measures during our gradual adjustment to the current conditions. We’re no longer only meeting customers outside, as we’ve added protective screens to all of customer-facing stations. Our customer waiting area has also been re-imagined with a greater emphasis on space and hygiene, including floor markings, hand sanitisers, and regularly scheduled deep-cleaning.

For those still self-isolating but without symptoms, we continue to offer a vehicle collection and delivery service (subject to availability). We’re also re-introducing access to our fleet of courtesy cars, with procedures in place to ensure cleanliness of all vehicles.

From July 4th, we’ll be reopening both our sales and service departments on Saturdays, though will be continuing to practice social distancing. We’d to love to see more of all of you, but we strongly encourage anyway considering visiting our site to call ahead so that we can safely control the number of people present at any one time.

Things are likely to change further over the coming weeks, but we’ll do our best to keep everyone up to date. Why not follow us on Facebook or Twitter too, where we’ll be posting any other changes?

Drive safe, folks
