We have always been very proud of the service we provide and the excellent job our staff do for our customers every day.
And winning the Outstanding Customer Service title at the 2018 Shropshire Business Awards has been a brilliant way to show our staff that it is not only us that think they are brilliant – the whole county does too!
We talked a lot about our staff in our entry because they are the heart of the business, and the people who greet our customers and meeting their needs so well – customer service is, and always has been, our top priority.
And that’s why you’ll find our staff popping out to buy a paper for one of our customers, who loves to read the news of an afternoon but can’t get to the shops when his car is in with us. So we leave the paper in his car for him and he can read it when he gets home.
Whenever a customer comes to pick up a car they’ve purchased from us, they’ll find a bottle of wine or a bunch of flowers waiting inside for them – because we know the day you buy a new car is a big one for many people and represents a huge investment.
And as a registered Bosch garage, we follow their car service code of practice which is approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute.
This means we always treat customers with fairness and respect, do not sell unnecessary parts, services or guarantees, we only run honest and truthful promotions and advertising and provide clear and uncomplicated bills.
We also not only rectify a problem where one arises, we try to offer something extra to go ‘above and beyond’ what the customer would expect.
When our name was announced at the Shropshire Business Awards 2018 ceremony it was a huge surprise, but a very very welcome one, and we could not wait to get to work the following Monday and show the entire staff the trophy.
And I think we have all been smiling ever since!
