We are thrilled to announce we have been shortlisted in two categories at the Shropshire Business Awards!
Great customer service is the backbone of our business and the reason we believe we’ve continued to go from strength to strength over the years.
Every company will tell you their customers are happy but at David Dexters we know we go above and beyond – and we were able to persuade the judges of that too as the first category we’ve reached the finals in is Outstanding Customer Service.
Our submission for that award talked about all the added extras we provide, things you wouldn’t necessarily expect from a firm servicing your car or selling you a new vehicle.
Examples included buying a paper for a regular customer who normally reads the news every afternoon but can’t get out to the shops when his car is in with us, or leaving flowers or wine in every car we sell for the new owner to find.
Plus setting up a computer system to encourage feedback and allow everyone to rate us, and signing up to the Bosch car service code or practice so our team follow a set of rules designed to make the experience a positive one for every customer.
And the second award we’re competing against three other firms for is the Best Small Business (6-20 employees) category.
Reaching the finals is testament to how hard our team work every day of the year.
For us, we don’t just want the customer to go home with a new car, a part fixed or an MOT certificate. We want them to leave knowing the next time they need anything car-related, it’s us they’ll be coming back to.
